What do you guys think about Amazon Prime getting free shipping?

Since Amazon owns Woot and Amazon Prime members gets free 2-day shipping, can they leverage that same network for free Woot shipping? It doesn't even have to be 2-day shipping. Make regular shipping free and the $5 fee for the expedited 2-day shipping.

@inkycatz: The first is a Prime-like option for woot. The second one is an open ended question about the relationship. The only reply that is specific to Amazon Prime is mine. I wanted to focus on Amazon Prime getting a benefit from its subsidiary.

I love amazon prime. I get it for free since I'm a student/caregiver. I will be very sad once my subscription expire. I love Amazon and I love Woot. Both companies are stellar values and customer oriented above and beyond any company I have ever dealt with. They will continue to get a LOT of my business.

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
