Morning - when I can crawl out of bed to do it. I was going to today but the gravity under my bed was really strong for some reason today.

Late afternoon.
I hit the gym on my way home from work, usually there around 4:30pm until about 6pm. I've found that if I go somewhere else, especially home, first I'm a lot less likely to make it to the gym. And most of the classes that I enjoy meeting in the evening, so that works out well for me.

On my every other off-Friday I usually go to the gym either first thing in the morning or at the end of my errands.

I really prefer to do it in the morning, but rarely have time so I usually work out after work.

In the morning on my days off and in the late afternoon/early evening the rest of the week. Our house is "bathroom challenged" so on work days I have to jump in the shower extra early just so I can get to work on time.

First thing (6:30 AM) on the way to work on some days, over lunch on the other weekdays. Either option allows me to leave work at a reasonable hour, and have time at home in the evening.

@mtm2 - I so understand what you are talking about!

In the morning I do my weights/Bowflex stuff, and I jog/walk during lunch (noon) on M/W/F.

my lunch time. either run outside, or run inside on the treadmill and do a bunch of excercises too. if i dont run at lunch time i dont make time to run. Pluse i cancelled my gym membership since my work has a small gym.

I walk a couple of miles with my dog every day after work (I get home at 6:30pm). I realized last night it's time to put on my reflective vest and put his LED collar on him, it's plumb dark by the time we get home. On the weekends we walk in the morning as soon as I get up.

Immediately after work. I used the have the luxury of exercising during everybody else's lunch break, but sadly not any more. I will change immediately and head out, not diverting to do anything else. Once I get out I'm fine, but I have to keep away from the temptation to fool around and do something else.

I'm not good at self motivation (yet) so I've been planning to join a gym once my finances are a bit more stable. I think that paying for it will motivate me more than working out at home. I plan to go in the dark of night, when no one can see my feeble attempts and labored breathing.

My theory has always been that one should automatically lose weight and tone up when one sends perfectly good money to a gym. For some reason this never seems to work although the theory seems sound. Hmmmm.

I almost always do my workouts at night around 9pm. It works out best with my schedule and I usually have the track to myself.

What is this "exercise" thing that you speak of?

vote-for6vote-against

We don't exercise much around here.

On the way home...walking...

@purplefeather: I, too, prefer darkness. It is a lot less embarrassing when there are no witnesses.

Usually about 2:30-3:00 am I head to the gym, I like it when nobody else is around.

Schedule varies, I try to go 2-3 times a week for 45-120 minutes.

I exercise @ Precisely Donut o-clock., and again @ Beer:30 (don't 12oz curls count)
if by excercise you mean sit on my ass and play xbox, while wasting time on the internet. (it's multi-tasking! shouldn't that count?!)

Honestly:
If i would wear a pedometer, it would show i probably walk 3-6 miles on an average workday, just in the course of doing my job.
