Which Xbox points are cheaper?

Found some Microsoft points for sale and was wondering what was the better deal.
I'm trying to do the math but I'm not sure I got it right.

So for $38.99 you can get 4000 points, but for $16.99 you can get 1600 points and use a coupon for $5 off if you buy three.

The way I mathed it was for ever 400 points I would pay $3.89 for the first one and $3.83 for the second one. Am I right?

went head and bought them. ended up being $15.32 per 1600 points. hope that's a good deal.

Yes, that math checks out.

Price per unit = price / # units. Price per 400 units = price per unit * 400

$38.99 / 4000 * 400 = $3.899

(16.99 + 16.99 + 16.99 - 5 ) / (1600 + 1600 + 1600) * 400 =
45.97 / 4800 * 400 = $3.8308333
