Where is the best place to buy men's shoes?
I am looking to upgrade my current shoe collection (a pair of 1yr old square-toed black shoes, a pair of 2yr old sandals, a pair of 2yr old Adidas rubber-soled athletic shoes and a pair of 2.5yr old slippers. Yes, yes i know - i am way behind the times) and am wondering where is the best place to do that.
Shoes I believe I need
1. A proper pair of sneakers
2. A round toed pair of black shoes
3. Boat shoes
4. Sandals
5. wingtip shoes
Any advice on additions/subtractions to this list?
I actually just bought 3 pairs of shoes at my local Rockport shoe retailer. The shoes have great comfort and support.
Norwalk, CT ...Shoe Mart. They may have a web site too
You sound like a jcp kind of guy to me.
Only one pair of sneakers? You can't have too many pairs, as you need to alternate them to allow them to fully dry between wearings. The rest depends on how you dress. You should always have at least two pairs of shoes for work, to alternate. How many casual items depends also on lifestyle. Wingtips or capped oxfords for dress are a good choice.
I shoe shop at the regional outlet mall (Sawgrass Mills) where I can get a good selection at great prices. Nordstrom Rack has the best selection.
