As an adult, do you still eat kids cereal for breakfast?
I love Capt Crunch, but I know it's not that good for you!
Yes. Cereal is the bomb. Good anytime. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack.
I prefer Frosted Mini Wheats myself. Not a "kid" cereal, but kids will eat it.
I had to do a double take when I was reading the question.
I steal my kid's cereal all the time.
I can eat half a box of Lucky Charms any day of the week. It's the half that's made up of the marshmallows. Then I put it back in the pantry for someone else to eat the other half.

Might I suggest http://www.firehousepantrystore.com/lblcmarsh.html
(changed link from 'zon to firehouse - they have bigger bags)
Cinnamon. Toast. Crunch.
@capitalggeek: That's awesome. The only problem is that you can justify buying Lucky Charms because half of it is "healthy." I'm not sure I can justify this (especially to my wife).
Lucky Charms, sometimes I'll hide them till my kids go to school and munch down!
Booberry and Frankenberry. Every Halloween I have to stock up for the lean months.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch is the God of breakfast items.
Peanut Butter Captain Crunch! I eat "grown-up" cereal for breakfast but sugary cereals are great for the late night munchies.
Not really, no. "kids cereals" tend to be on the sweeter side of the spectrum and although I love my sugar, not so much in my cereal for some reason.
Usually only after dinner, not for breakfast. Frosted Flakes makes a great dessert.
Sure, always start my day with honeycomb. It simply makes my day!
As a kid, I ate adult cereal. Doused in table sugar, but I preferred Cheerios, Raisin Bran, Shredded Wheat, and Puffed Rice to kid's cereals. I've never been a big fan of corn syrup. As an adult I barely ever eat cereal as I am lactose intolerant so I could only eat cereal at home (as restaurants don't offer lactose free milk) and I am trying to avoid carbs anyway. When I do eat cereal it is Special K or multigrain Cheerios with stevia and lactose free skim milk. Beh.
Cocoa Pebbles!
We were a cereal family growing up. We had elaborate cereal rules hat dictated how and what you could eat.
For example:
2 non sugary cereal bowl for 1 sugary cereal bowl
You must empty the entire box but if you do you get to choose its replacement
Never more that 4 open at once
etc... There were serious penalties up to and including grounding for breaking these rules.
Needless to say as an adult as as the dad I eat it with reckless abandon and follow no rules :-) The same way my dad always messed up the system with the IM the DAD rule
I enjoy an occasional bowl of fruity pebbles but prefer Frosted Mini wheats for a cold breakfast.
I would, but my wife doesn't let me buy sugar cereal. She wasn't allowed to growing up, so, now she doesn't allow me when I'm grown up :(
yup but i'll eat it for dinner or an afternoon breakfast on weekends. lucky charms, cinnamon toast crunch, corn pops....
lactose-free milk, baby!
Yes, but not for breakfast. Peanut Butter Crunch in the evening is a great treat. I'll eat a bowl of Frosted Mini Wheats warmed in the microwave for lunch.
If you are an adult and are not indulging every once in a while on kids cereals you are missing out. Best part of being an adult is you can eat a whole box of Lucky Charms or Cocoa Pebbles and no one can say nothin about it. GOT THAT MOM!!!
Fruit Loops for dessert.
I do like munching on Apple Jacks as a dry snack.
As an adult I can now eat all the cereals that my mother wouldn't buy because they had too much sugar.
I do still eat cereal occasionally. Never for breakfast though. I love fruit loops, fruity pebbles, and cinnamon toast crunch :)
@bogie21: Boo your wife. Sorry, that's dumb. Your a grown ass man, buy the cereal you want.
@djbowman: Are you old enough to remember the little nothings in the box as a "gift" that pursuaded you to beg for your parents to buy the particular item? Same goes for saving boxtops - I had a bag of those treasures for a long time.
Captain Crunch w/ Crunch Berries and Lucky Charms. (And I save the marshmallows till last too.)
I must admit that my favorite morning cereal right now is frosted mini-wheats... I am a grad student and cannot afford the brand name, so I have to go with the generic Safeway brand :) Still is amazing though, sometimes it makes my day.
I'll eat just about any cereal but I do have my favorites, We stock up on FrankenBerry every Halloween when its available.
