Has Hurricane Sandy changed your Thanksgiving Plans?

I was talking to a co-worker today about her Thanksgiving plans (we are on the west coast) and it suddenly hit me that many people on the east coast are going to have to change their plans for thanksgiving. Have your plans changed?

No changes here in the mid-south except maybe spending more money than planned.

No changes to my plans, except to what I think about during the holidays. It has made more thankful to have friends, family, and a roof over my head. I hope the people affected by the Hurricane can get to some sense of recovery and normalcy soon.

Being in the midwest I'm probably ignorant about such things, but I would think that, other than those who directly lost their homes, etc, things would return to some sense of normal by Thanksgiving.

Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?

Well, that's a bit tricky. See, we do a lot of stuff with your vote, using it to work out the popularity of what you voted for, compare that to all the other things voted on, tally up our leaderboard, work out your reputation.
