Looking for good 2.1 channel computer speakers
I'm looking for a good 2.1 channel speaker set to use with my computer. I have a cheapy $25 Altec Lansing set that just don't cut it. I love lots of mid and high, but I also want thunderous bass. I've been looking at some of the Creative and Logitech 200 watt systems. Anyone have any advice or know where I could find a deal? I've tried eBay, it's not cutting it.
I'm on a budget as a college student, but I want something that will hold up and pound out my music.
Thanks for the help Wooters! Happy holidays!
I have an older version of the Bose Companion 3 speakers on my computer. They are awesome. Besides the excellent sound, I especially like the remote volume control with headphone jack and line out.

They're probably not what I would call a "budget" choice, though.
I would definitely agree! I have heard these, they are great. I actually have a Bose Cinemate II home theater in my dorm room (got via credit card rewards, I could never afford that!), I think Bose makes good stuff.
Price-wise, it is a bit high for me. Maybe I could ask very nicely for Christmas though!! Thanks for the input!
I found this logitech speakers from ebay if you are interested, reviews seem to be pretty good.
@wootmango22: That is a good find, I have been looking at those speakers. The shipping on those is insane though! $25 bucks? That guy is just looking for extra profit. Thanks :)
