You may notice soon that there will be another staffer posting Moofi deals. This is because I am stepping away from Moofi to work on the buying team. Moofi has been my baby for over 2 years now and it is with a heavy heart that I am walking away. I will miss you guys but will check in every now an then to see how things are going.

Please welcome the new guy with open arms and try not to beat him up too bad. He is just learning and might take him a bit to figure you guys out.

Moofi quit being fun (for me) when it became predictable (by being part of the #sponsored deals), but you gave it a good run for a long time, and I'm sure we all wish you well on the buying team. Some of my favorite purchases were Moofi purchases.

@brutherford: Good luck! As you are heading over to the buying team, please remember that we love the old woot monkeys (hood and cape) and don't like the new monkeys (mask and cape) and REALLY WANT THE MONKEYS BACK!

p.s. if you ever decide to get rid out your monkeys, they could join a couple hundred of their brethren at my place. I was under a death threat and my ebay account was taken away from me when my family saw your monkeys go on the auction block. :-)

Congratulations on your new position! I find transitions difficult, so I sympathize with your heavy heart, but I hope that your new role at woot is rewarding and challenging in the best ways. Geez, why so negative?

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
