Options for 1.8" hard drive?

I have a D420 (cheap! Core2Duo laptop), but it only has space for a 1.8" hard drive.

I was going to bump it larger, but I've gotten addicted to my OCZ SSD on my desktop...
Anybody know SSD options for it?

1.8" and PATA interface with a ZIF socket ... as an owner of a D420, not many choices, I'm afraid.

Closest thing I can think of is a ZIF to CF adapter, then run a big CF card. No assurances on how well that's going to work, however.

You could try one of these. I just put one into a HP 1000 Mini and it works great. YMMV

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
