I listed a deal and now its gone. Why?

I listed a deal from http://www.ihavetohavethat.com/index.php and made sure it wasn't a duplicate before I posted it. Had alot of woots and now its gone.

Ah yes the mysterious moving to the Popular page. The database does that, and with all the issues today it can take a while for things to refresh and do whatever needs doing.

I happened to notice this earlier.... Yours actually WAS a repost. But there's no way you'd know that unless you just happened to see the earlier post. That's because the first OP didn't change the default Title that Deals pulls over from the site, which in this case was "I HAVE TO HAVE THAT - Deal Of The Day" - Not very descriptive or helpful when searching.

In addition, the other OP didn't include /any/ information in the description.

You have to vote up more before you can vote down.

Don't get us wrong. Negativity has its place. And downvotes are just as essential as upvotes when it comes to making Deals.Woot a useful place to find deals.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
