I had my son's pediatrician tell me that he could smell the Strep as my son opened his mouth to be checked for a bad sore throat. That was a bit out of the ordinary. I never realized there was a smell associated with it. But he was right and the test came back positive.

I attended my grandma's visitation; funeral's tomorrow.

@msklzannie: My condolences on your grandmother's passing. It is always hard to lose a loved one, but the holiday season seems to give it an extra edge. Both my mother-in-law and father-in-law died near the holidays. It was hard the first few years, but now we recognize and enjoy that they are with us in spirit as we celebrate. As you and your loved ones share warm memories of your grandma in the days to come, may you find peace in knowing that she will always be a part of you.
