I've bought a couple. I believe I got the Complete Calvin and Hobbes collection and the MASH: Martinis and Medicine collection as Gold Box deals. Both were at very good prices (less than $100) and, it being Amazon, I knew I didn't have to worry about the transaction. I've seen some other DVD box sets that I would have been interested in if I didn't already have all of the seasons (or, in the case of The West Wing, all of the seasons I wanted). There are some good deals to be had.

Amazon Gold Box is one of my first sites of the day to check for deals. Some of the best video game deals, ever, are Gold Box/Lightning deals. They also have some pretty good DVD/Blu-Ray and electronics deals.

Never hear of it. Guess I have another thing to check up on now.

I got a PS3 for $199 on one of their lightning deals and I think a video game or two. I believe that's how they sold their HP Touchpads when they had them, though I didn't buy one (already have a tablet). Every now and then I see some decent deals, though it definitely seems to be hit and miss.

Got a few movies and games recently, but barely ever find anything I'm in the market for.

I bought a few things, the best deal was the Drinkwell cat fountain, it was about
$20 on Gold deal and sold for about $60 regular price at the time. I love it, kiteh no longer hangs out in the bathroom waiting for water and scaring folks, lol.

Rarely do I remember to look there, though I have gotten a few movie packs (like Alfred Hitchcock's Ultimate Box) from there before.

On the amazon Goldbox page they have a section closer to the bottomw called Quickpick's; they have some deals tailored to your preferences based on your browsing history... I was able to pre-order The Last Guardian at a discounted price when it showed it. A lot of times it's hit or miss but it's good to keep an eye on it.

I have bought the complete Seinfeld and then a couple movie's or video game's. I found when they first started up Goldbox the deals were better then they are now. IMO the products use to be more generalized mainstream products where now they have specific narrow focused items that are less likely to be impulse purchased. If there is something you like listed it usually is a good price but I haven't seen a product of interest in some time now.

I buy from my gold box ALL THE TIME! I get 75% of my blu-ray preorders from them. When you start to manage your recommendations and previous purchases, items appear that are more catered to what you want.

As long as you keep up with your purchases, and "Amazon likes" etc, items will appear that you are more inclined to purchase.

Like everyone else, you have days where you look at it and go WTF?!? REALLY, THIS IS IN MY GOLD BOX? LOL

Like everyone else so far I've gotten a few things. It is hit or miss though.

I've gotten a really nice set of congas that were a lightning deal. I've picked up a couple household items that were gold box deals.

All in all not even remotely close to how much I've spent at woot, dammit. :)

I bought an elliptical machine for my wife. It was at least $30 cheaper than I could find anywhere else, plus I had it delivered to my front porch with two day free shipping!

Pretty sure the only thing I've ever bought off Gold Box was the Arrested Development Box Set DVDS for my sister. I think I still have it lying around somewhere...
