I have looked and looked. This is going to be like finding a needle in a haystack. While I am visiting the swap meets in the next couple of weeks, I will keep my eyes open. If I find something, I will take a pic and PM it to you.

You may have to MacGyver something yourself. Does it have to be ceramic? I know that is the best material to last outdoors. Can you buy some cheap durable ruby shoes, some similar stockings (you can stuff them with something)?

@theoneill555: Who would've thought this would be so hard to find? Thanks ahead of time for keeping your eyes peeled.

@mtrlgrl: No, it doesn't have to be ceramic. Resin products might work as well. Unfortunately, living so far South fabric and cheaper plastic doesn't hold up well to the sun, heat and humidity as well as some type of clay pottery would.

There's a paint-your-own-pottery place near by. If I can't find what I'm looking for, I may pop in and see if there's something I could craft myself and have them fire for me.

Thanks for looking. :)

@hobbit: That's kind like "The Wizard of Oz" meets "A Christmas Story" with the infamous leg lamp. It was a major award, you know!

@lavikinga: "Fra-gee-lay. That must be Italian"

@lavikinga and @hobbit beat me to it. I see slippers and stockings and my mind immediately goes to: http://www.pe.com/imagesdaily/2009/11-03/leglamp_400.jpg

You might be able to find a willing crafter over at Etsy:

http://www.etsy.com/alchemy/

Just post what you're looking for and what price you're willing to pay, and then hopefully get some good offers from talented artists.

@kylieziegler: Oooh! What a superb idea! Thanks!

@lynnaux: Yep. like I said in my challenge, the doorstop has been the only thing I've been able to find. Unfortunately, they're only 3 inches or 4 inches tall. Perfect for a doll house, but too small for a shed.

You guys have been great with suggestions!

I'm not sure how large you need the "legs" to be...but wickedcoolstuff.com has a planter that might work. It is ceramic and bigger than the doorstops: http://www.wickedcoolstuff.com/con319014.html

@jimeezlady: I JUST this minute found it!! How cool is that? Turned on its side and It might just work! Thanks!
YEAH! Success! You guys are the best!

Ugh!! HGTV featured a Garden that has EXACTLY what you are looking for but I can't find any info on "where to buy" Maybe you will have better luck! : http://www.hgtv.com/landscaping/a-storybook-themed-garden/index.html

Edit: @lavikinga: Cool! :-) If the planter works show us a picture when you get done! LOL

@jimeezlady: I enlarged the picture and got a bit creeped out because they looked REAL. I think I'll go with the planter. It's the right size and should hold up to the sun and rain.
We've been transplanting a tree this morning. It's already 92, humid and dead calm. Hubs looked like he had showered with his clothes on. Dripping from his head down. Ugh.
