Are you prepared for a zombie apocalypse? The CDC has an emergency plan for you.
Somebody just told me about this site today and I thought it was worth sharing. It's pretty funny now. but they said when they first visited it it was completely serious and didn't have any of the language that's there now saying it's a joke.

OMG that's too funny! Good thing my bf is obsessed with flashlights, we are good to go on that one!

@theoneill555: Ah, well, it was 11 months ago, so I'm not going to delete it. I am sure there are lots of people who've joined since then that might enjoy seeing it. But props to @rlapid2112.
(In a bad Elvis-like voice) Well, thank you; thank you very much...
I just posted a Tomahawk: it is a good deal, but bad to use against the walking dead...
Of course they weren't serious about a zombie apoc but was trying to add some humor to the disaster awareness and preparedness message and also use zombie-mania virally (pun unavoidable). Notice that the equipment list doesn't include any weapons?
@first2summit: Wait, no, I saw that the CDC in Atlanta, specifically, Dr. Jenner, advocates that a survivor should be armed. His choice is the M4 carbine and the M9 sidearm. He likes flames and explosives, too.
@first2summit: Well, it wouldn't do for the CDC to advocate euthanizing sick people.
zzzzzzzzzzz....
