Deals.Woot

It's probably because of two main reasons:

1. Black triangles are usually the most active of all the Wooters, so we're more likely to see and answer questions.

2. A large population of deals.woot probably don't ever visit the questions side of the site. Because they don't ask/answer/vote for questions, their triangles are usually not black.

As a purple triangle, I hate you.

being a black triangle member is not something I work to keep. It's simply a lifestyle... the pursuit of all that is woot! in this crazy world! Here's lookin at you purple triangles...

No, you have it all wrong. People who answer questions "become" black triangles. Once you become a black triangle, you are free to roam the never ending unexpired deals until the end of time without the need to answer any further questions.

I gently point out, my friends, that most of the questions asked are asked by black triangles as well. Do you realize that there are almost 400 black triangles, and another 400 purple triangles?

I also note that most of the questions asked are of the social variety (and I'm NOT saying this is bad, merely pointing it out). Close to a thousand seriously active people is a LOT.

but for reference i would say that those of us who make an effort on the site, for the most part are black or purple triangles. and because of that you are far more likely to get a response from one of us due to the fact that we are so active.

We're black triangles because we answer lots of questions... not the other way around. This also makes us more likely to post questions... This makes you more likely to be in the "fresh area because that's where your question is... Which leads to answering new questions and voting on them.

I'd like to buy a fancy square, don't give me the lame excuse that i have to work for them, i know if you talk to the right person anything can get done!

@jgribb1: write them a big enough money order and they will let you do whatever you want. had a guy tell me one time at a flea market that if i wrote him a big enough check he would trade me sides of the table. kinda like amazon and google: if you got enough money, anything can be bought.

I never answer questions.

I've only been on Deals.woot maybe 2 weeks, if that, And all of a sudden I see a black triangle! But really it's just because I get my social interaction via facebook and Woot... Hey, don't judge me! :D
