Gaming system advice
So my PS3 had the YLOD (I posted about it a couple weeks ago) and I got it repaired. It just happened again.
I should be able to get it fixed again, since it's within the warranty period provided by who I sent it to, but I'm fearful it'll happen a third time.
What I'm thinking is to get an external and use the system software to make a complete back up of my system, replace the PS3 and load the back up.
Question is this: would the backup be, for lack of a better word, complete? I want to make sure it will mirror, so that all my videos, downloaded games, and save files and everything will copy over.
If I have to redownload some games, so be it, but I have a few videos that I can't redownload and so on. I feel like it should since I used this tool to back up when I upgraded the hard drive, but I had deleted some stuff I had to argue with Sony to get back...so overzealous, but better safe than sorry.
Secondary question: what's the best retail place to get a 300gb external?
