How do I get emails from woot?
I used to get a newsletter every once in a while, but I haven't in a year. It seems like everyone nowadays is getting emails more often, I even saw my brother reading one, but they must not be getting through my spam filter. I use gmail.
if you are indeed supposed to be getting them, then check your spam mail in Google. If they aren't there, then I suggest checking your account settings on woot (click the link at the top of the page that says "Welcome YourUserNameHere")
if they are in your spam folder, just add them to your contact list and they'll go to your inbox
Well, if you study really hard (at what I'm not sure), know someone important at Roomba that can get you an interview, and stay sober for said interview, then you may get a job at woot. In that scenario, I would expect you would get frequent emails from woot.
@capguncowboy: Thanks, somehow those got unchecked.
I get the newsletters but whenever I select the checkbox "[ ] Email me when someone else adds an answer," I never get those messages. They do not end up in my spam folder either.
@cengland0: you must have pissed off woot somehow. Order something from woot and tell it you're sorry
@captainsuperdawg: I have purchased 38 items from Woot so I think I'm doing okay in that category.
@cengland0: well then, maybe woot is mad because all you do is take take take. did you ever stop to think about woot's feelings for once? well? did you? send some flowers and chocolates to woot's home address as soon as you can
@captainsuperdawg: Along with take, take, take, I pay, pay, pay.
@cengland0: sure, but did you ever stop to thank woot for having such good stuff at pretty good prices?
btw dude, i'm just joking, you seem to be taking this kinda seriously right now while i'm trying to be anything but serious
@captainsuperdawg: I know you're kidding. Your comments were pretty funny.
I'm still trying to get those emails. I don't like having to check posts every day to see if there's a reply. That takes a long time.
@cengland0: ok, glad you know. it's hard to tell when people are being serious or sarcastic via the interwebs so i just assume the worst. so, other than my stupid comments, i really have no advice for you. maybe a foot rub for woot would do the trick?
@captainsuperdawg: I have the same problem with dealextreme mails too. I subscribe to their comments and do not get any emails from them. I do get newsletters and other sales but nothing regarding comments. Very frustrating.
