Of course I eat health. If its fried it's good for you...isn't it?

Being a 27th level vegan, I don't eat anything that casts a shadow.

This is where my corny, obnoxious friend would say, "I'm on a seafood diet. If I see food, I eat it!"

of course i eat healthy. i avoid broccoli at all costs. one of the deadliest plants on earth. it tries to warn you itself with its terrible taste.

@75grandville: excellent simpsons reference.

I try to avoid fast food chains like McDonalds, Taco Bell, Burger King, etc. It is horrible for you and the quality of the ingerdients is pretty poor.

That being said, I do occasionally have to give into my craving for a McD's double cheeseburger meal with a large fries and Orange Lavaburst Hi-C. It tastes like being 8 years old again.

Anything is fine in moderation, no need to worry about it too much. Staying active is the biggest key.

I try to avoid avoiding food

This month I've fallen into old bad habits...

When I'm on top of my eating habits, I keep to a pretty paleo lifestyle.
I avoid sugar, wheat, caffeine, nut oils, overly processed "food" in general, anything labeled "low fat" (due to the usual addition of sugar to make up the taste for the lack of fat)... I'll stop now.

(Yes I watch my weight, right now I'm watching it climb from eating cookies and Santa shaped candy... smh)

Judging by the number of upvotes on bacon related deals and the occasional cries for 4XL shirts ... hmmm, what do you think?

@narfcake: Not to mention folks with "cake" in their nicks... ;)

I figured I can eat anything I want, provided I put in the effort and exercise required to remove said foodstuffs from myself afterword...

of course, the second part doesn't always happen, so I have a more simplistic way of looking at it: I refuse to eat things that are still Alive. Since all uncooked plants are alive when you eat them, they all fall into this category.

@pamfenway: The (narf)cake is a liar. I'm comfortable in a size L now instead of XL.

@thumperchick: Ahhhh! The paleo food regimen. Know a bit about it; my son has been doing that for 4+ years. Not for me - the apple fell very far from the tree. Cannot see never eating baked potatoes, rice, pasta, gravy, sauces, bread, etc. ...Cheesecake, scones, fudge, cookies, cakes, pies and so on. Am not overweight, just eat everything in moderation. Somewhat. Occasional binges excluded, and followed w/serverely cutting down on my intake of dark chocolate. ;-)

@thumperchick: just out pf curiosity, do you do crossfit? The paleo diet seems to be pretty popular with crossfitters

I just buy one of everything that comes up on wine.woot during a wootoff, and that last me until the next one.

I'm in the beginning stages of a doctor-mandated weight loss (cholesterol). I've lost the first 12 lbs just by doing a simplified version of "Eat this, not that." Switching to fat-free milk, going with a high-fiber cereal, drinking more water, etc.

Being a 27th level carnivore I eat anything that casts a shadow... including whiny Vegans :)

vote-for6vote-against

I feel awkward posting this after @nietz said he'd eat Vegans, but I'll admit it I'm a Vegan. Perhaps not a whiney one. I'm a healthy eater some times. Other times I splurge like anyone else though.

@scarabkafer: I'm actually currently more Atkins style, but beginning to lean more paleo - it's simpler. I've also been checking into crossfit, but I keep running into an "elite" mindset on the blogs and info sites - it's off-putting. In the mean time, I'll keep to my weights circuit 5x week.
Well, as soon as I can stop eating cookies... =D

I think you looking for rep. (Tongue firmly in cheek, though hard to do while clenching jaws.)
