Is there a Christmas Wish List App that you use to share with Family/Friends?
Last year I setup an account and group with http://www.christmaswishlist.net/.
It worked really well.
Basically, you have one person create a group, and then each person that you want to join you send an e-mail that contains the group ID and code or whatever.
Each person gets to go to the website and add the items that they want to receive, and you can include links and notes about the item as well.
Other members of the group can review what you've put in your list and then can check it off as purchased. All members then get to see what's been purchased EXCEPT for that individual who's list it's on.
So, for instance, if my Dad buys something off my list, my mom and siblings see that it's purchased, but I do not.
It works well, but I'd rather have an app that can do this or something very similar to it.
I've looked around, but haven't found anything that seems to meet what I need.
Here's another wrench to throw in...can we find something that's compatible with Android, BB and Apple?
And yes, there is an iOS variant: http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000291661
@jrpigman: Yea, that wouldn't be too bad...not necessarily exactly what I'm looking for as each person would have to create their own wish list and I'd have to pull each one in separately (not a huge deal though, I guess).
It would also show the individual when an item was purchased...takes some of the surprise away from Christmas I think...
Thanks.
No problem! It actually does do what you're asking -- If someone buys me a gift, for example, the item shows up when I look at my wishlist. It won't show up to anyone who isn't logged in as me, though. If you buy an item not from amazon, you can click the "I bought this somewhere else" button and achieve the same effect.
You can cheat and see what people bought you, though: http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=hp_897204_alreadybought?nodeId=501092
@jrpigman: Gotcha. Thanks.
