I get these coupon codes all the time. Unfortunately, the last one I received was on 4/19/2013 and it expired on 4/22/2013. Those coupon codes never last longer than a couple days.

So, at this time, I do not believe there are any valid coupon codes; however, if you sign up for their newsletter, you might get one yourself. You need to have it protected within 30 days of purchase and my email history shows I get several in a 30 day period.

Do you happen to have a link for that? I can seem to find email subscribe. But I am on mobile device currently could be why.

vote-for8vote-against

@dravack: Oops, my bad. I cannot find a link to subscribe either. I suppose I got on their mailing list by purchasing a warranty. I cannot see any other way to get on the list without first making the purchase.

When you click on the Login link, it does have a way to create an account but it seems like it's designed for you to use the same email address that you used when you purchased the warranty. Perhaps that's if you got it through eBay or some other method instead of directly on their site. You might give it a try anyway to see if it will create an account for you.

I cannot vouch for how good or even valid this would be, but have you tried here?

http://www.retailmenot.com/view/squaretrade.com

vote-for5vote-against

@mamajamerson: yeah looked there and none of them looked like they would apply to my purchase. The 20% off iPad is standard already built in as a new release item bonus discount thing.

vote-for7vote-against

@mamajamerson: Well, since no one else is going to do it :::scowling at appropriate User ID::: let me thank you for giving it a good shot. I checked three other sources as well; since they're mostly store-based lists, I didn't expect much, which is exactly what I got.

@magic cave: Based on my limited experience in this community, I suspect that you are (much like myself) of a helpful nature, in general. You've now "helped" me to smile, in spite of my inability to help the OP. Hope you have a lovely day!

vote-for5vote-against

@mamajamerson: don't make sad face today is a happy day May the fourth be with you! Plus free comics today! ^^ sorry for the late reply but slightly busy with shopping and running errands. Also didn't mean to sound rude or ungrateful for the assistance earlier. I just hate typing on tiny IPhone screen. Sorry!

vote-for3vote-against

@dravack: No offense taken. No apology necessary. happy face

I haven't seen an active coupon in a few weeks and they've said on their facebook page that there aren't any. Now, You could go through the process and see how long you have to buy your warranty and try to wait a few days to see if they post any new coupons....

vote-for6vote-against

You used to be able to use the promo code Thirty30 for 30% off a warranty up to a maximum of $30.

Retailmenot.com has a list of current promo codes. Just try some of them out and see what you get.

You aren't able to stack promo codes on Squaretrade as far as I'm aware.

It doesn't look like you can get a promo to do you any good right now (unless you get one that allows more than a $30 discount) as they've already offered a $30 discount for the iPad warranty.

@thumperchick: The standard period is 30 days. However, if you luck out, sometimes they offer warranties on items owned longer than 30 days (up to 90 days I think).

vote-for3vote-against

@capguncowboy: I'll try the thirty coupon if nothing else I might use it to get insurance on my digital camera. Walmart had a crazy good deal on a sony dsc-hx20v for $149 marked down from $400 to $249 + 40% off (all clearance items are 40% off right now dunno why I assume to clear space for new product)

Please note the above is very YDMV I went a couple towns over to visit my parents and I stopped by their walmart to see if they had anything and camera was still full price.

vote-for4vote-against

@dravack: If you still need some coupons send me a priv msg on the forum.

vote-for1vote-against

@darkinc: If I could figure out how to send you a PM I would.....Can you PM the square trade info to me?

vote-for2vote-against

@rodernr: I usually have luck calling them directly @ 1-877-WARRANTY and buying over the phone. They will usually give you a coupon code. Ask for it. IF you buy the warranty through Amazon, it is usually a little cheaper;however, then you cannot use coupon codes. Square trade is great! I am getting ready to buy an iPad and was looking for a coupon myself! If they are already offering 20% off the price, I doubt they will add a coupon code on top. One or the other, whichever is more. Good Luck!

vote-for1vote-against

I just looked on their Facebook page and apparently they don't have any promotions running at the moment. They did say ipad warranties are currently 30% off...

vote-for2vote-against

@dravack: Sent a 30% off any item coupon code.

@rodernr: If you still need a coupon code, you will have to send me a private message on woot, the only way that I know how to is to find a post the person made on the woot form and click the "Private Message" icon. If you click this URL after you login, it will take you to the page to send me a private message. http://shirt.woot.com/forums/AddPost.aspx?forumid=0&UserID=1819808

Anyone has squaretrade coupon you don't need? would appreciate it! Thanks

vote-for2vote-against

@darkinc: Thanks!!

@pacpenn: If your going to get an iPad check out this deal I just posted. http://deals.woot.com/deals/details/79139c06-0ba4-4e7a-ae7e-b88e78a9a852/best-buy-30-gift-card-with-ipad-purchase Right now bestbuy is giving away $30 gift cards with almost every iPad purchase. Only ones that don't benefit from this are the white 3g models no idea why.

vote-for2vote-against

@pacpenn: Sent a 30% off any warranty code!

vote-for2vote-against

Please note for those others who are thinking of getting iPads the 30% code will overwrite not add to the 30% off ipads already. so use it for other stuff if you get it =P

vote-for0vote-against

Thanks! Target also has special offer this week. $40 gift card for the larger one (you pay the full cost up front...plus get an additional 5% off if you use Target Red Card). Hope this helps! I wasn't able to pull up the Square Trade coupon. Will have them honor it via phone call. Good luck.

vote-for1vote-against

FYI, I just got a 30% off coupon that is good for today only. Tomorrow it will be 20% off until 5/13. PM me if you need the code. I'm in the triangle club.

I received one too if any one needs it.

vote-for1vote-against

Actually, now that I think of it, how would I know if someone PM's me? How do I get those messages?

vote-for0vote-against

@cengland0: Do you still have a valid coupon code?

vote-for1vote-against

@maria651: Yes I do. PM me with your email address and I'll forward the email to you. @pyxientx can send his to the OP if he requests it after I've given mine away. I'll give mine to first person that requests it or the original poster if I haven't given it out to anyone else yet.

I'll be leaving for a couple hours to go to the gym and then I'll check my mail when I get back. If OP requests my code, they get first pick. If not requested when I get back, I'll give it to the first PM that I received.

vote-for1vote-against

@dravack: I also received an extra one that's good for 30% today and 20% for a few days after. Let me know. @cengland0: That was sarcasm about your PMs, right?

vote-for1vote-against

@cengland0: I got one already from earlier. That's all I needed. So feel free to donate yours to whoever you deem worthy.

vote-for1vote-against

Well, I was going to hook you up with today's code, but it seems that you have already gotten one!

vote-for1vote-against

@cengland0: there is NO notification for PM's on the forum side. You have to notice your envelope has a 1 on it, once you're already in the forums. Though, the pm's do show up in all of the regular forums.

vote-for1vote-against

Does anyone still have a code not yet used?

vote-for1vote-against

@bigmikefsu3: I do, though now it's only good for 20% off until the 13th. If you want - you can find me HERE to pm me. Just click on the envelope next to my name and it will take to you the pm screen.

I have a stupid question and didn't feel like making a new question for it. besides you guys seem to be still checking here. I'm checking out my camera warranty and have the option to purchase it for $149 (what I paid) or $379 (Walmart price)

I'm leaning towards the latter even though I never used the one I had on my 2007/8 (cant remember which) camera I got at bestbuy. It's still working fine enough though does show its age after 5 or 6 years. So probably don't need a warranty but if for some reason I do try to cash in this warranty like I drop the camera and it smashes into pieces. Will they give me the retail value $379 if I cashed it in like a month or two down the line? Or what if it breaks 2.5 years from now do I still get the full value from start or does it depreciate every year like the purchase price of the camera will?

I was on the phone with their chat support about the price difference and didn't really want to ask the lady. She barely spoke English it seemed lol.

vote-for1vote-against

Gah I was in edit and changed my entire question and it didn't save because it was to late I guess. But I answered my own stupid question i think.

They replace it for full price even if its 2.5 years down the line and to replace the camera with a new one would be like $50 in stores. And if I get accidental and I drop it in a pond while taking pictures of ducks, hit it with a hammer some how, or drop it and it shatters they replace it assuming I get the accidental coverage. Right?

@darkinc: I sent you another PM.

vote-for3vote-against

@dravack: Sent.

I use squaretrade for all my warranty needs, I love the ability to easily transfer to another person, and the fact that they save your receipt for you!

vote-for2vote-against

@darkinc: Thanks! and keep me updated on there. I'll check back every day or so to see how it turned out for you.

So after getting insurance on my camera they offered me a 35% off coupon to use on any tablet or phone issuance. Got an extra 5% off ipad insurance XD
