Is the site getting flooded with deals today?

Does anyone else think there are a crazy amount of deals being added today? Right now the oldest deal on the first page of the fresh-recent tab is only 25 minutes old. That means were averaging almost a deal a minute. What the heck is going on? I've actually got a deal I'd like to post, but I'm afraid its going to get buried before anyone has a chance to view it.

It's true. Today just seems to be a day of obscenely good deals. On my routine website checks, I'm finding a butt-load!

I'd go ahead and post it. On a day like this, the margin of good-dealness is just tighter. i.e. The REALLY good deals will still make it as a "top" deal, and the good, but just not quite as good, deals will get buried more-so than on other days.

@rustybender: I must say, when I came back after nearly a month of being on hiatus, I was pretty impressed with the number of deals that were being posted. Especially since it wasn't all crap!

@durkzilla: It just seems heavier today. I try to keep up on all the fresh deals and up or down vote them. I've had a hard time keeping up today.

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
