Outside is already done. Three net lights that took all of 10 minutes to take down and store.

Christmas tree was supposed to be today but we ran out of time so it will be tomorrow.

We do a "big" display. Ours runs through New Year's Eve. Then I start taking it down the next day. We're in Minnesota, so weather can be an issue, but I'm stubborn... Last year I had to dig most of it out of 2 feet of snow... The quicker it's all put away and stored, the happier I am...

I put up a cross at Christmas and it would only seem proper to leave it up until Easter. It is a cross that I made with a plywood cross drilled to accept C9 bulbs. I used 3x4 foil cake tins over each light with a dimmer on the cord. When the bulbs are dimmed it looks like glass block.

I hate taking down the decorations. It makes the house feel so empty afterwards. But I also don't want to be "that neighbor" who never takes down their stuff. So it usually comes down the second weekend of January.
