This question confused me, but that's not difficult recently. Finally figured out you meant cards. ;-) Sorry, the only place I can think of is Walgreen's

I use Snapfish for photo printing and have been happy with their quality. They have some deals on cards right now:

@ceagee: You have the vastest (most vast?) collection of images I've ever seen. Your search-button must be worn down to a little stump.

Walgreens is where we had ours done after our DIL told us about the deal. Think we ended up paying half price or so. It's all been on their website.

@mtm2: They start at about $1 a card at Vistaprint. I am very pleased with the ones I got from them, they have three photos, front, inside and back, and cost me 80 cents each as I had a coupon at the time. But it may be too late for mail order. A couple of years ago I printed my Christmas cards at Zazzle, and also got matching custom printed US postal stamps, which I though was pretty danged cool, although I don't know if any of the recipients noticed. If you have a Sam's Club membership, I got an ad this weekend that they have their custom cards on sale. They are $10.50 for 30, with next day service.

@moondrake: Our Walgreens order was same day service. Most of them can do this if you order by a cut off time...like 3pm or something like that.

@mtm2: The reason I didn't include Walgreens was that I was disappointed with the order I made from them on Thanksgiving weekend. My mom was visiting, and we went and did a lot of fun stuff that whole week, including some special stuff for her birthday. I took lots of photos and ordered a "same day printing" photobook in the evening, expecting to be able to pick it up while I was out shopping the next day. I got an email saying t was ready, passed by the Walgreens several hours later, it wasn't ready, their machine was down. Could I reorder to a different Walgreens? I said I had used a half price coupon which expired the previous night, the manager said, "No problem, I will call and tell them to honor the coupon". I went home and re-ordered the photobook, and when I went to check out I had a flashback of the last time I ordered a photobook from them and the same thing happened! TBC

ctd:
On my previous order, when I'd re-ordered I selected "pay at the store" so I could tell them about the discount, but when I got there they'd already charged my card the higher price and it took weeks to get the refund. So I waited a few hours, worried about being overcharged, and got the email that it was ready at the other store. Made a special trip over there, and sure enough, they had already charged my card again, although they said they'd spoken to the other store manager and had charged it correctly. I still need to check my credit card summary just to be sure. And after all of that the book was stiff, didn't close properly, and the photos were quite lurid (oversaturated). I've had about 50 photo books made in the past ten years and this is definitely the worst ever. So my confidence in Walgreen's Photo Department is at an all-time low.

Thank you, all!
The title show you how busy I have been. I could not even spell check my shortcut, asking the community for help.

my wife's business has really good deals on photo christmas cards. they are a little more personalized and fun than say a snapfish or walgreens for basically the same price. feel free to check them out - www.invitingyoudesigns.com

@kainem1: I checked out the website but I didn't see any photo books, which is what I am currently trying to get done before the snapfish sale ends tonight. One possibly useful tip...that pink hurts my soul. I did not want to spend any more time on the website than minimally necessary.

@goatcrapp: I was working on Snapfish photo books as Christmas gifts for the people I vacationed with this summer. I didn't see the sale till yesterday, so it gave me only half a day to work on them. I usually spend about 20 hours on my trip books finessing them exactly how I want them. But I rushed through this one and got it done at 10 till 1am our time (midnight PT). The initial total for three 11x8.5 lay-flat 40 page books was right at $200 with tax and shipping, after the hark60 coupon it came to $96. I don't think I have used Snapfish before, I use My Publisher and Mixbook for the most part, occasionally Shutterfly, and Walgreens when I am in a hurry. So I hope these come out nice. If they do I'll add Snapfish to my list. I did find their build program intuitive and fun to use. Sleepy day today, got to bed at 1:30am and had to be up again at 6am for work. Long day today as well, my regular 7am-6pm, and a committee meeting afterward.

@moondrake: I've been pretty satisfied with snapfish, as long as you control the layout. I've also been pretty horrified at snapfish when i would throw some pics in and let them create the collage, lol.

@goatcrapp: Yeah, I have never used an autobuild feature. The whole point is to make something that reflects the parts of a trip you want to remember. Having the computer randomly jam all the photos onto pages is not going to accomplish that. Plus I load a lot more pictures than I use, I loaded over 1,000 photos for yesterday's project and used a little under 200. I often take several angles and views and I don't know which one I am going to want till I have the others around it in context. Also there are often photos that singly wouldn't make it into the book, but they fit a layout or tell a part of the story so I find I need them even though they aren't great photos. Good to hear you have been pleased with past work from them. I am glad to have been able to get the lay-flat feature, I really like it.
