Lawn Darts if you can get your hands on a set. That game is really fun! I really wish it wasn't banned, I'm still not sure why it was. You should definitely have a beanbag toss too, and ladder toss. Those games can get VERY competitive and are quite easy to make a leader-board out of. Also they do not take up more than 20 feet of lawn space.

If you're having a lot of beer at this party you can try the classic beer games, beer pong, flip cup, etc. These seem very juvenile but can be a great hit at your adult party if your guests know how to play.

@eraten: You may be interested in checking this link - in case you didn't see it on the other Lawn Dart question.

@afurball: :) You should check to see who asked that question! A bit of sarcasm on my part for asking why it was banned :)

Other ideas:
Put up a hula hoop, tire or something else round and have people try to throw a football through. Award a couple of points for getting it through, a few less points for hitting hte round thing.
Set cones or chairs different widths apart and have people try to kick a soccer ball between them. more points for narrower goals.
Get a golf putter (or make one) and put out a couple of cups for people to putt into. Croquet mallet, ball and wickets would work too.
Get a kids' puzzle and time people putting it together with their feet. Start with all of the pieces upside down for more fun.
How tall a card house can you build in 2 minutes?
Toss peanuts (or washers or playing cards) into a bucket.
Wiffleball Home Run Derby!
How many tosses does it take you to knock down a tower of soda cans with a frisbee?
Guess the number of M&Ms in the jar.
Fill up a tall jar with rice and small non-rice things. How long does it take you to find/identify them all?

@pamfenway: You're very welcome. Lots of years helping out with youth ministry means I've got tons of game ideas.

More ideas:
Build the tallest tower/bridge that spans a certain distance and will hold the most weight out of varoius things - toothpicks and marshmallows, newspaper and tape, straws and gum drops, two pieces of paper and 18 inches of scotch tape.

When you award points, award lots of points. In the thousands at least, if not millions. Points are free, big numbers make it more fun!

Prizes don't have to be big. Losers serve the winners dinner, winners get first choice of dessert, etc.

Have a "Closing Ceremony" where the top winners are crowned/given metals (cut the bottom out of plastic cups, line a cookie sheet with foil, turn on the broiler in the over and melt the cups down into "metals", use string for a cord to go around the winner's neck. Yellow cups make gold metals, clear make silver, use blue or something in place of bronze.)

Take lots of pictures/video.

The favorite party game at my house is charades, although that is a team game. Making a paper airplane and then trying to hit a target with it is also fun. Or distance racing with a paper airplane. People can do those separately and you can just keep track of the score on the target or the distance flown for each person as they do it. You can also get velcro darts and play darts.

@gt0163c: Many thanks...you are a wealth of information & ideas! I know I'll use many of them!

@moondrake: Thanks! When I first wrote the question I really meant for there to be no team games. But as I've been reading through & thinking of the folks attending (extended family party), with such varying ages, it occurred to me that I should have teams AND individual scores. This way the oldest and youngest will be mixed with all the rest & have equal opportunites for "prizes." (Some of which will have come from BOCs.) :)

@eraten: sheesh, think I'll have to chalk that one up to lack of caffeination.
