Refund?? What is this of which you speak? ::mumble, grumble::

Some of us haven't even gotten our W-2s yet.

No. Like @niloc225, some of us haven't received our necessary paperwork yet.

Just checked my bank account hoping for a present but sadly no money. I know that I can file my state taxes at midnight so I will be doing that. I estimate that I will receive my refunds by 2/10 and have it all spent by 2/11.

I got my W2, but it'll be another 2 weeks before I get all my 1099s.

I don't do refunds, so there's no rush.

My employer makes our W2s available for download from the HR website on the 15th of each year. My mortgage company offers all of their info online. I keep good paperwork for the rental property we have, so I've got mine ready to go, but have to wait until they open the gates for that worksheet before I can file.

Got a small refund this year. That was nice.

Wow, when I filed I was told the IRS was not accepting e-files until January 30 (today). Mine have been filed for a while, but still waiting in line for the IRS to process.

My workplace is playing hide and seek with our W2s. We are supposed to download them from our financial system. They sent an email after close of business last week that they were available over the weekend, but on Monday would only be available after 4pm. So everyone came into work on Monday having missed the weekend window of availability and tried to get them at 4pm, crashing the system. They were supposed to be available again after 4pm yesterday, but at 3:58 they sent out an email saying that they wouldn't be available till after 6:30pm (we get off work at 6). They are supposed to be available today after 4pm, but I am not holding out much hope. Apparently the only way we can get our W2 this year is to come in after hours or on the weekend, which we are not really supposed to do.

Sure enough, just got this:
"We apologize for the inconvenience, but we will have to shut down Self Service at this time. Due to the large volume of employees accessing Self Service to print their W-2s, the server was brought down causing us to be unable to complete the payroll processing.

As soon as the issue is resolved, we will send out a broadcast email letting you know it is available."
