questionsdid the prices on a lot of amazon mp3 music go up?

I would assume that it's just Amazon. Their prices fluctuate when the wind blows.

I saw that too. I went to buy a song and it was $1.29. They're probably trying to make some money whenever they give the $1 credits to people, so they don't give away a song for free, they simply just make 30 cents on it. Better to make little money rather than no money.

I've noticed that the new songs start at about 1.29, fall to aroun .99 when they get to be around a year old (or if not very popular), and further fall to .79 when very old or very unpopular. I would bet it's a pricing model, and not random at all.
