Why doesn't McDonald's sell hotdogs?
I want a biggie sized hotdog, is that too much to ask?
Super Size Me.

isn't biggie the term used at Wendy's?
McDawg
Why would you want them to anyway? They would just screw it up. Find a small local hot dog stand or something.
Big fast-food chains get low marks in taste test:

They did in the late 1990's and it failed, then they tried BratWursts in the midwest about 5 years ago. It advertised at "limited time only".

cuz 7-eleven has cornered the hot dog on a roller cooker market
because der wienerschitzel is DER BOMB.
all beef chilicheesedog on a pretzel bun.
better question is WHY THE F* DON'T THEY SELL THE MCRIB ALL THE DAMN TIME?!?!?!?!
oh, McD in Germany sells bier.
Because they aren't healthy =D
@iggz: All the more reason for McDonald's to sell them.
We have a place in KC called Dog Nuvo that would provide McDonalds with some very stiff competition: http://www.eatatdognuvo.com/menu/category/1-dog-nuvo.html
I think there meat is the same meat that's in a hotdog.
Because it's not economically feasible for them to buy more cow eyeballs.
When they put them on the train tracks to flatten like a copper penny they round out, hence the shape of most of their patties.
They would then have to take that meat turd and make it hotdog shaped. The expenditure in meat resurfacing machines alone? It just isn't practical.
Could you say "I would like a super sized mcweiner" with a straight face?
