questionsdo you know a good gpu widget/gadget?

Check with your card manufacturer. I know EVGA has PrecisionX and it's pretty useful (and it often supports non-EVGA cards as well).

Thanks for the reply, i broke down and joined the Nvidia forums to ask and they pointed me to PrecisionX. so far so good, thanks for the response.

MSI afterburner works as well.

I've been using TechPowerUp GPU-Z for years now, and it works great. It gives you all the information you could ever need for your card. It supports AMD and NVidia.

speedfan is a simplistic tool that gets the job done well. even lets you have a temperature monitor, if that's what you mean by 'meter', in the taskbar.
