Challenge: need some of these Disney Flix Video Cams for Angel Gifts for children

I have a dozen Director Pack software programs (Cinderella) for this video cam, but these are too expensive for our Angel program. We must have our children's packages completed by Dec 3rd. Can anyone find me a dozen of these for much less? Right now I have $150 and might be able to get a bit more, but I can't pick up many at this price. Thank you in advance!

But give us until this next woot-off, woot use to have them regularly for about $20. I will keep my eyes open. If we can't find some cheaper, I will donate some ducats to help pay for them.

Boy, less than $15 a piece is going to be difficult. I was lucky enough to find and win one on eBay for $15.50 plus shipping but that was a one time seller. Most on eBay now are $29.95 - $39.95.

Since its for a charity have you tried writing Disney Consumer Products? I found this information on their corporate web site.

"The Walt Disney Company recently launched a new, user-friendly Charitable Request tool found at www.DisneyOutreach.com to improve how we at Disney, ABC and ESPN work with charitable organizations."

There is more info there and you also find a link to http://www.cybergrants.com/cybergrants/plsql/disney.disney_quiz.next_step which is where you apply. I am not sure if they can help but it couldn't hurt to ask.

Darn. Well, you can always try contacting Disney Consumer Products directly. Their web site is www.disneyconsumerproducts.com. They have a nice display of all the North America Corporate Leaders here, https://www.disneyconsumerproducts.com/Home/display.jsp?contentId=dcp_home_executives_US&forPrint=false&language=en&preview=false&imageShow=0&pressRoom=US&translationOf=null&region=0, but no contact information. The only contact info is under Media Relations, you could try that.

I am still searching. Was thinking CraigsList but that would be real hit or miss.

If you email the seller you may be able to negotiate the shipping, to bundle it. Especially if you tell him its for a charity.

@jazcat: We are not allowed to buy used for the packages - Santa doesn't bring used toys according to our rules. The group I work with has wrestled with this for 25 years, but there are very few exceptions allowed and this isn't one of them. Thank you for finding this though.

@sand4me: I think we should rattle woot's cage and have someone poke around the warehouse and see if they have any more. If they had some, they could post it as a moofi or a charity and people could by them and have them sent to you.

After all, it is because of woot that you have all that software.
