Everybody is still trying to find a Touchpad at firesale prices of $99 and $149. Wishing and hoping!

Ahh, an HP Touchpad (after a quick Google search). So, I'm guessing they are good tablets for the price?

@joshaw: Nope, not especially good. HP just decided to abandon them, and sold them at fire sale prices to get rid of them. If you want something to throw Android on, and are into a device you can play with, then sure, it's okay money for something decent enough. If you're honestly just looking for a tablet, though, I'd give up the money for a new Nook Color, and root it (or a Kindle Fire, but I've not heard anyone say whether they could be rooted or not).

Personally, I'd rather just having a nice Android tablet, but am holding out for something decent that will run Ice Cream Social (or whatever they're calling it), and that has a keyboard, like my Kindle. It's unlikely I will ever see such a thing, but that's what I want. I'd hoped for the thing from Lenovo to be like that, but I'm not too impressed with it.

To quote the great and mighty OZ: THAT IS ONE TASTY BURGER!

@joshaw: It's a good example of tablet manufacturer's failure to market & price effectively.
