Anyone know of a good case for the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 that is simple to remove when I wish to dock it
I just purchased a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 in the Woot-Off! the other day, and I am looking for keyboards and cases for it. I found a keyboard dock I'd like to use, but I'm worried that I'll need to remove any case prior to docking the tablet. This really isn't a problem but I know removing the case every time I need to type something up will be tedious. Are there any cases out there that will protect my Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 well while also allowing for easy removal of the tablet?
I don't have any specific advice, but my experience is that all docks require a naked phone or tablet. It seems like there would be a market for adjustable docks or some sort of short adapters so that one could use a beefy case conveniently without taking it apart. I've found I have to dismantle my case just to use a credit card reader that plugs into the earphone plug.
According to the specs for the tablet, it has Bluetooth 3.0. Have you thought about getting a Bluetooth enabled keyboard?
I just purchased a case made by poetic for my 7" tab 2 and love it! I'm sure they make one for the larger tab. of course I got it from Amazon. ...gotta love prime!
I have the Asus Transformer TF300 and I use the Asus Versasleeve. I like it because it's basically just a carrying case that converts to a stand. The tablet, or tablet and dock, just slip into it; it doesn'tt attach with straps or anything. I tried a Bobjgear silicone bumper, but found it heavy, cumbersome, and too difficult to dock. The sleeve is really all I need, and it lets me use the tablet without anything extra attached.
Looks like the Galaxy you have is slightly smaller, but maybe there's a similar product for you? The fit on my Transformer is quite snug, so you might be able to use the Vesasleeve with no problem.
