What electronic piano/keyboard brands and models would you reccommend?
Im looking for a good entry level electronic piano/keyboard. I dont want to break the bank, but I'd still like to see some features such as weighted keys, and midi out. Any suggestions on where to start, or how much I should expect to spend? What brands/models would you reccommend?
I purchased a Casio-WK1630 about 8 years ago, I spent roughly $500 on it. It did everything I wanted it to do and more. Not sure what is on the market today, but you should be able to find something like that used for around $100.
Roland. Not up on the current models, but I've always preferred Roland's digital piano touch to Yamaha. And Casio - it's basically a "toy".
the casio privia models are not bad as a starting point. they have weighted keys/midi out and most of them have SD-card capability.
the only thing with buying a digital piano is that you'll probably spend a pretty penny on a new one. as @lichme mentioned before, it might be beneficial to find a used one, especially if you're just starting out.
