My grandmother made something she called "yuck"...Jello with sour cream swirled in it. She called it that because whenever she told someone what it was the response was usually, "Yuck!" It's actually really yummy :-)

I love ceviche and oysters on a half shell. I am also known for putting ketchup on most things meaty.

Pickled sausage. Most people hate it, I love them.
My mom does eat mayo with french fries. That's gross to me.

@iggz: /shudder

(we call them jizzfish, due to their uuber salty, fishy flavor)

@loosecannon67: Ketchup is my favorite condiment. It's the duct tape of the food world ©.

I like peanut butter and Miracle Whip (my second favorite condiment) with a sliced banana on bread. Not too weird.

Dill pickles and cottage cheese mixed together. It's one of those left over pregnancy cravings. Only get the yen for it now once in a blue moon.

@lavikinga: That reminds me: cottage cheese and apple sauce, holy crap is it good!!

Dried squid/cuttlefish with gochujang.

Cottage cheese fat free, shredded cabbage and salsa. My fave dish when I need to lose a few pounds.

@oahceasgnikgneas: First had that in the lunchroom of a very rural elementary school in Virginia, back in [mumble mumble] more than 50 years ago. Horrible sounding, but if the bologna is good quality it's pretty tasty.

Peanut butter and lime marmalaide. The tanginess of the lime gives the peanut butter an amazingly zippy taste.

@oahceasgnikgneas: That's soul food! When I was a child we had that with a big dollop of potato salad in the middle...ah, the memories.

@oahceasgnikgneas: Love fried bologna! Especially in a grilled cheese sandwich, yum!

1. Herring fillets in sour cream.
2. Raw oysters with champagne vinaigrette and lemon.
3. Peanut butter on saltines with lemon curd on top.

I see there are some variations above - and y'all southern fried bologna eaters remind me of my granddaddy.

I rather enjoy raspberry jam on pizza. Blueberry is also acceptable. Its way better than you think.

I also like those sesame noodles from the Asian place around here which grosses everyone else I know out. They don't actually use sesame though, it's pretty much half a jar of peanut butter on spaghetti, which I scrape most of off and enjoy a few days worth of over my own spaghetti.

I suppose all my fake meat subs count as weird. My favorite so far which I fell in love with is canned fake duck. So goooooood!

Not really anything too weird to be fair.

With what I have read here, I guess putting mustard on my fries is not weird at all.

vote-for6vote-against

@theoneill555: Nope, not weird! I love to do a combo Ketchup, Mustard, and Black Pepper on my fries. Now and again I also add BBQ sauce on top too.

dark chocolate with an eggnog chaser!!!!

am i the only one that enjoys eating some good raw braaaaains now and then? fresh from the noggin? is that too much?

vote-for3vote-against

@w00tgurl: Not too much at all. They're wonderful with a pinch of smoked Himalayan pink salt.

@woothulhu: I think you may be thinking or anchovies or oysters, the sardines I get aren't salty at all.

@woothulhu: Actually you just made me pick up another pack

They are sooooo goood. It's probably the hot sauce that makes them taste not salty.

pepperoni dipped in chocolate pudding - probably the one time i let my food touch and it was soooo good!

I'm apparently at least the 4th generation for eating cut up dill pickle slices in creamy potato soup. My grandma told my dad that his grandma (my great-grandma) served potato soup that way. We have also been known to butter slices of bread, tear them up, and put them in the soup too. Yummy!

Nice buttery homemade Nestle's Toll House cookies washed down with a good hoppy IPA like Bridgeport. Mmmm...

Pan fried spaghetti. Butter, salt, pepper, and spaghetti. I prefer mine crispy.

@wickedd365: I wouldn't say most people hate picked sausage. Everyone I know that has had them liked them.
I haven't eaten them in years though. They look like 50% fat.
