I think it's hilarious that people can make millions of dollars because they can hit a ball with a stick more accurately than most.

I don't care who wins and I won't watch it.

I've wanted to try golf for a while but never have had the chance.

But no, I'm not much of a sports guy so I don't care all that much.

Golf on TV is OK, if someone turns it on. Almost a pleasant moving nature vista with commentary, and the announcer's verbal pacing is also pleasant and the content easy to ignore. Please note, I've no idea what's going in, nor care except in the mildest way.

I can read a technical article or listen to a difficult audio passage while golf is on the TV and the golf is not even slightly intrusive, but it is pretty and pleasant, so I like it.

Now tennis .... :)

Golf can be a fun sport to play, but it is not a spectator sport for me. I don't think I've ever really watched a full match on TV.

I do! You guys suck. Master's in HD is epic.

No way, the showing is in direct competition with doing anything other than watching golf.

I'm a huge sports fan, so I'll be watching. I've noticed, however, that there doesn't seem to be a whole of sports enthusiasts in this community, so I'm not surprised by the answers.

I'm not a golfer. But my Dad is. He's 85 and still golfs a pretty mean game. I'll watch with him. He went and saw it years ago and likes to point out stuff on the course. Makes for some good bonding time.

Do or do not, there is no watch.

I'm a sports fan, but I consider golf to be similar to running as a sport. You have to spend most of your time/money doing it in order to be good enough to be recognized and they're both incredibly boring to watch.

If you hadn't mentioned that it's Master's Week, I would never have known.

I think Tiger is making a comeback.

Definitely not a fan.

I broke my leg during my one and only atempt at golf when I fell off the ball washer.

Hell yes! I love the Master's.

Having grown up in Augusta and having attended the Master's I must say it is quite an experience. My parents had annual passes when I was growing up, but gave them up when we moved away. I went back for graduate school, got tickets from a professor and got to see Tiger play as an amateur paired up with Vijay Singh. Watching on TV is more entertaining as you aren't just following one pair of players.
