Does adding a comment automatically add a WOOT! to the deal...?

i noticed that when i added a comment to a deal that i was automatically adding a WOOT!, which in the case of some of the deals was NOT my intention at all.

mods, help - is that true?

No, it doesn't add a vote to the deal. Just a comment. You have to deliberately click on the great big reddish button to the side, that shows the number of Woots (votes) that are current on the Question/Deal in question. For example, your question has one (1) Woot, right now.

[Edit] Man oh MAN, I wish they'd fix the bug that delays the visibility of comments. Argh!
