computer security question concerning my deal.woot account
I posted a router deal here:http://deals.woot.com/deals/details/9fa44673-5cff-41a5-96eb-6f4b53c5fd2d/cisco-linksys-e1000-wireless-n-router-wireless-n#4
I see @jcnoble2 posted a side by side comparison of this deal and another popular deal here: http://th.isandth.at/#leftTarget=http://deals.woot.com/deals/details/9fa44673-5cff-41a5-96eb-6f4b53c5fd2d/cisco-linksys-e1000-wireless-n-router-wireless-n&rightTarget=http://deals.woot.com/deals/details/17101bb5-9fde-4bbf-b81e-ee7a745d0475/netgear-wnr1000-100nas-rangemax-150-wireless-router%236
I thought that is kind of cool until I see that on the top of each page is from MY WOOT ACCOUNT! It shows my login name and that I am logged in. How is this possible without hacking my account or being woot staff. Can anyone enlighten me on this one. Thanks!!!
It loads these pages:
It shows whomever's account is logged in, while viewing said pages, because you are logged into woot.
It uses iframes. So it is not a cached page, it is the real pages, just like opening two different tabs in a browser.
@xarous: interesting. Thanks for the answer!
