What do I need to get cable on my movie projector?
Not long ago I posted about how my 48" TV died. I now have a movie projector and a room with a huge bare wall and black-out capabilities. Here's the problem... how do I get cable to my projector? The projector was best-money-could-buy 8 years ago, so it's pretty ancient now. It has a coax-in, s-video in, and red/white/yellow RCA outputs.
Can I just buy a digital cable box and hook that up? Will that allow me to change the channel and everything? I found one that I think is what I need: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Viore-ATB150V-Digital-Analog-TV-Converter-Box-w-Learning-Universal-Remote-Control/16207327?ci_sku=16207327&ci_src=14110944&sourceid=1500000000000003142050
Am I on the right track? I figured that I would run my wall coax to "antenna in" and then run "coax out" to the "coax in" on the projector. This is all I need, or am I way off track?

Sounds like it would to me. You could try running the coax through a VCR or dvr if you have one laying around to try it out first. Good luck!
That converter will work. I bought a similar one at best buy 5+ years ago for the same purpose.
Really anything that has a Coax IN and an AV OUT should work though.
The converter box you list will get some of the channels, but not the encrypted ones. Many cable companies provide this type of box free to their customers (Comcast gave me two of them - no charge). Alternatively, why not just get a full-blown cable box from your cable company? That way you will get more content and perhaps even DVR capability. Before you buy anything, check with your cable provider.
