I agree. Maybe I'm just too used to getting decent deals on woot and amazon on a daily basis, but there hasn't been anything out there today that makes me think, "At that price, I gotta have it!"

Except for those nightvision goggles.... >.>

I was really hoping to pull the trigger on a laptop. Specifically, an HP Probook. My price point was $399. Pretty low, I know, but this will be a luxury item, an addition to my desktop and tablet so I can sit tight and wait it out.

Can only say that items I was interested in were not better deals than those I've seen before. Either on sale of w/a coupon. meh.

I actually just had Sears call me up and tell me they were canceling the dishwasher I ordered THURSDAY. I'm getting negative deals this cyber monday, wtf? Seriously douchebag move, Sears.

I wasn't really expecting any stellar deals for Cyber Monday considering for Black Friday a lot of the stores had their deals online as well as in-store.

There's a few decent deals out there. The problem is theres so many other mediocre-to-fair sales that some of the good stuff gets lost.

I'm wishing I hadn't bought a 120G SSD a month or two ago since they have a 160G intel one for 160 after MIR which is probably the best price I've ever seen for it.

So this year it seems to be more "here's a metric crapload of slight deals" instead of a few super awesome deals. But that's no surprise.

I, too, was looking for a cheap laptop. I really only need it for a short time, for studying for certs, so I didn't want to spend too much. Instead I bought an oven and a mixer. I still need a vacuum. Maybe Santa will bring me one. Oh boy!

@infiniteammo:
Target did that to me a couple years on a cyber-monday deal.
Ordered two TomTom's, 5 days later they canceled my order.
Reason: They did not secure the shipment from the Manf.
ie... they pre-sold something they didn't have and then couldn't get.
I wasn't even offered a substitute of a similar tomtom I knew they had.
After several emails and phone calls it was never resolved.
I was not happy! They offered me a $10 off coupon on my next order.
Told them they could keep that!
errrrrrrrrr........... still burning from that deal.

I can has dealz?

Yeah, this has not been the best I've ever seen. Usually there is more stuff up at midnight like Cyber Monday doorbusters, but alas, nothing. Most of the retailers I think have lost track of the concept. Now it's "Cyber Week" or "Cyber Black Thurs-Friday" Let's just have 24 hours of online pandemonium, right?

I'd like to see a website crash b/c great Cyber Monday deals, I mean Woot! can crash everytime a BOC is up...COME ON RETAILERS!

For what this is worth...ABC news did a report on how Cyber-Monday Sales increased 26% over last year. Could be. What struck me as most interesting - the lead example they used was a woman who ordered 2 Amazon Kindle Fires. They then showed a clip on how that was shipped w/i such a short time frame. Interesting? Yes, of course. Did it have anything to do w/a sale, discount, bargain, etc. offerered for Cyber-Monday? Nope. Side note: The Kindle Fire was NOT on sale. And this was a report on cyber-Monday Sales. Guess 'anything' you bought today is included in the stats for Cyber-Monday Sales.

I have to agree, I got much better online deals on Thanksgiving day that I am seeing now. Bought 4 Xbox 360 holiday bundles, the 250Gb models for $199 each. They were available from Best Buy AND Microsoft, now here it is "Cyber Monday" and both places are sold out. Same with the Kinect with 3 games for $99...can't find those anywhere today either. Glad I bought them when I did.

And yet, someone thinks it was a great day.

Maybe their expectations aren't as high?

Found more things on Saturday...Not much of anything today.

There have been some good deals, but nothing I wanted.

I think the problem is that everyone started their Cyber Monday deals early to get ahead of the rush, which then resulted in a lame Cyber Monday since all the good deals were already over. At least that's what I've seen.

This is my first cyber-monday since getting active on deals.woot , and it feels like I see such great deals during the year that the so called deals the retailers put out today just aren't that special. The regular shoppers got a taste of what we get year round, but it didn't do too much for the online savvy.

@infiniteammo: That's Sears for you. They suck. And I don't usually use language like that, but for them I make an exception!

Although I am not happy with Cyber Monday, I am completely happy with the items Woot listed for today, which was still Monday for me when the deals went on at 10pm! I was in for two Home.woot deals (Haan Easy Clean Steam Cleaning Floor Sanitizer) and three Wine.woot deals of the Wine Barrel Wine Stave Bottle Balancer and possibly the Smasung tablet, which is a steal!! Thanks Woot!! You made my Cyber Monday complete since no other sites were running sweet deals like Woot does!!

The PlayBook is getting dumped at $199 for the 16GB and $299 for the 32GB version at Buy.com. I already have 3 ipads and don't need anymore tablets. Almost bit on the PlayBook but ran out of excuses. Maybe a tablet for the bathrooms or garage.

I was looking at portable hard drives and I had already bought the same ones that were supposed to be great deals for half the prices just a few months ago. I was highly disappointed that there was no good deals to waste my money on buying. I was really forward to buying something else I didn't need.

Someone spilled fail all over Cyber Monday.
I was able to get the Killzone 3 Helghast edition for $25 so it wasn't a total loss.

vote-for2vote-against

Agreed! Didn't find any deals. Very disappointed. I have gotten a few good deals over the last few months, most found here. Keep posting what you find!

Ya'll make me happy I declared Monday an official day of rest after a super busy weekend and didn't turn on any computers except to watch some avis and kill a few zombies. I was afraid I'd log in here today only to learn I'd missed out on something great.

vote-for2vote-against

feels like all the retailers suffered from premature dealification. I was seeing great deals on everything the entire month of november, and then Monday was a huge letdown.
