Sooo, what will you be bringing the New Year in with? Every year my sister-in-law makes a TON of Jello Shots so between those, some Don Julio Anejo and a glass of Don Julio 1942 for the ball drop (can't stand champagne) I am set!

A mix of Gin, Wine and Champagne

@jsimsace: :-D Okay, the look on my face was because it was noisy. :-O Though, it wasn't too bad; it did startle me. Though, the loud fireworks are already starting here.

And a Feliz Año Nuevo to you, too! Have been watching my web cab in Spain. Sadly, they've paused it. Was hoping to see some kind of fireworks over the Mediterranean in Malaga.

Started off with some homemade raspberry beer a friend brought over. Not bad! Moved on to my favorite Reisling. Decided that I needed to stay awake past 8:00 and chances for that were getting slim, so I switched to "brown wine" (Diet Coke).

(Somebody has to stay awake to clean up after DH and his friends who are watching the Chick-Fil-A Bowl.)

A 'good' cab. Am thinking of throwing the empty glass into the fireplace. The glass will not be crystal. Seems that's some kind of 'rite of passage.' Or something. My late husband did that one year. I laughed. Big. It was wonderfully funny. :-D

Also, very interesting since our fireplace is open on both sides. :-/ It was okay, since the other side was blocked w/a screen. He did have to clean up the glass, though. :-)
