Would you like to see other liquor on Wine.Woot!

I like a good red as much as the next guy, but what about our other fun spirits? It would be nice to see a black tie buy Tequila or Scotch on Wine.Woot! Or even better yet, why not make a Drunks.Woot!

This has been asked before and unfortunately it's impossible to sell beer because of some distributor laws, and liquor is also very restricted.

I wish they could though.

I'd definitely make more purchases if they did! I do enjoy a good wine, but I'm a sucker for a good deal on a nice Scotch.

@okham: Unfortunately, booze.woot doesn't exist......... yet. Also, I believe that Woot owns anything that has .woot.com in it. That way, nobody could make an actual booze.woot.com posing as an actual Woot extension to gain money off the loyal Woot fanbase.

bourbon is my beverage of choice, but whiskey seems like the most obvious choice. I definitely wouldn't complain.

yes, I keep seeing cool local spirits on Drinking Made Easy on HDnet... like the bacon infused vodka or bourbon.

problem is that each state has it's own liquor laws, and some have decided to allow direct sales of wine, but that's it. Most require liquor to be distributed by a small monopoly if distributors.
