Where's the microphone on this? I don't see it.

vote-for5vote-against

@patentdude: Mic is built-in to make it less cumbersome. Product folds nicely for storage as well.

Are there any reviews of this anywhere? Can't find any

vote-for1vote-against

Can this utilize a Bluetooth stream from a Smart tv?
Thanks

How's the sound quality on these for music? I'm very wary of a product at 83% discount with no reviews on Amazon.

Also, it says Bluetooth enabled mobile phones--can I safely assume there'd be no problem syncing with a PC with bluetooth?

@connie019: Those don't look anything like the headphones shown on Amazon. The headphones you linked to don't even have a manufacturers name on them.

vote-for1vote-against

For those looking to pair with other devices, A2DP or AVRCP are necessary, most devices have it, PCs included.

vote-for1vote-against

These are definitely not the headphones linked by connie109. I am not sure what those are. Trying to get the word out about the set, so offering the deal. Amazon.com return policy and CS apply to the item (Amazon.com/returns) if anyone is unsure. Hope this helps. :-)

@luzysstorageplace: I see that you are the seller on Amazon. Have you personally heard these or know of any reviews?

vote-for0vote-against

are these powered by batteries, if so what kind, or do they have a charger, if so what kind.

vote-for1vote-against

@flaura22: In description, Charges via Micro-USB

It looks like Francois et Mimi is just an importer that adds their brand to the goods they import. Other products of that brand on Amazon have good reviews.

Since no comments on these specifically, can anyone speak to the audio quality of bluetooth headphones for music listening? I'm no audiophile and perfectly content with iphone headphones, for the record. What would drive me crazy is any popping, humming, or skips.

vote-for2vote-against

@starmandeluxe: BT is fine for listening to music under normal circumstances. As long as you are within 30ft or so (less given walls and objects that interrupt radio waves), you shouldn't see any of those issues.

That being said, if a device is REALLY junk then one can have problems.

I'll try this out for $20. They look like a decent pair of headphones.

vote-for1vote-against

I just picked up a pair on the gamble that they might turn out to be alright. Their bluetooth speaker had decent reviews so why not give it a whirl. I got 1 day shipping so I will give a full report tomorrow :)

Can I use this as a PC headset? For example, to use with Skype?

vote-for1vote-against

@mike95kim: I don't see why not, once it is paired with the PC, it shows as both BT Headphones (High quality Stereo) and a BT Headset (Audio input/output for telephony) I use BT Headphones for mic in, you just need to set the bt mic as the default audio capture device in the mixer in Windows. Also, you may have to press the "phone" button on the headset for it to pair as headset.

@ryjaek: Is interference an issue? 90% of my use would be sitting smack dab in the middle of Manhattan.

vote-for2vote-against

@starmandeluxe: It could be an issue. BT is on the 2.4ghz band, and there are a lot of items that use that range (some wifi, wireless phones, etc). I don't have any experience in that kind of dense living circumstance; I suspect it depends a lot on usage around you, plus the insulation between living spaces, etc. As with all wireless tech, the closer the two devices are together, the easier it is for them to communicate, so lots of interference may decrease smooth listening range.

You never know until you try :) If you have a smartphone (or other BT enabled device) and and a computer, you should be able to test the bluetooth audio connection to get a feel for how it might work by playing through your computer speakers. Note that it may not be a good representation of the audio quality (double EQ, tinny speakers, etc), but you can see if you have a stable connection at least.

The feature list for these headphones don't mention anything about aptX compatibility. Assuming these will be used for music listening, that might be something to look into before plunking down twenty bucks on these.

CHARGING? Is it rechargeable or must we replace batteries every 2 hours of listening? Just wondering. No one thinks to ask things like that. I had to be a kill joy, but some people just have no common sense. Ya know?

vote-for1vote-against

@speardiver72: Is it rechargeable? Will you have to replace batteries? That can be very expensive, I mean, if you use them on a daily basis. Just wondering. I hate to be a kill joy, but I could not find specs on it.

vote-for1vote-against

Ah, it charges via usb, this is a fabulous deal. Your ears will sweat, but it's worth it to be able to move about without breaking cords.

vote-for1vote-against

@guraqt12: Yeah, I couldn't find much on them either. But it did say they are rechargeable via micro usb so i figure they're worth a shot.
Admittedly, I would really like to see some reviews, but I rolled the dice since they were less expensive than many of the other over-the-ear bluetooth cans. Not that it's any guarantee on the quality of these headphones, but the company that make them has pretty good amazon reviews on their portable bluetooth speaker (http://www.amazon.com/Francois-Intelligent-Bluetooth-Smartphones-Connectivity/dp/B00D3MWY88/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1378334347&sr=8-2&keywords=francois)

If they turn up to be crap, I will return them (Looking at you, @luzysstorageplace).

vote-for1vote-against

I just got mine in today and they have an incessant high pitched buzz in the right ear whenever they first turn on or are connected to an audio source. It doesn't matter if I'm streaming anything to them or not, and happens both on my pc and my nexus 4. Anyone have any other experiences with them? 1 star and simply returned is my current feel. If someone likes them, I might try and get a new pair.

Also, if anyone is interested in looking the product up, it registers in bluetooth as LD-9210, which has some hits from distributors.

vote-for1vote-against

I'm getting mine today and I get home at 5 so I will let you know what experience I get with them as soon as I get home.

vote-for1vote-against

@ryjaek: It looks like you may have received a defective unit. You can request that we send you a replacement through the Amazon.com message service. Thanks.

vote-for1vote-against

So I've had mine for a couple of days now and have not had the high pitch problem. Mine are quiet, last pretty darn long on battery and the sound is pretty awesome for what I was expecting. Granted these aren't audiophile headphones but they sure beat anything skullcandy. They are up to $40 now and I'd say that's still worth it. Buying another pair for my wife.
