Is this a good mount for a 65" plasma?

it says it goes to 65" so I'd say it'd work

I own this and it holds my 47" Vizio 3D screen in my bedroom with some very slight sag (maybe 1/2" when fully extended. I would be very hesitant to put a heavier TV on it. Otherwise we have loved this mount. We can angle the TV to one side of the room for a workout on the elliptical and then the other direction for watching a movie in bed.

I was just curious if someone is using this mount for a 65" plasma? If so how is it?

As long as the tv is less than 110 pounds then you should be fine. You will need to make sure that you mount this to studs. If I were installing it in my own home then I would mount two 2x6's horizontally across 3-4 studs and then screw the mount into them.

These mounts are crap. Especially this one. I wouldnt put my cat up on it. The hinge will bend and break after about a month. I had a 42 inch LED, and i noticed it was starting to sag.

Company said it was install problem, and refused to send me any money back.

My TV was 70 lbs maybe...

I have had one for about a year and it holds my 50" Vizio RAZR LCD with no issues. I agree that it will sag slightly if fully extended, but not more than an inch. No sag at all when flat against the wall. Making sure the bolts are centered in the wall studs and fully tightened. makes a big difference in how solid this mount holds the TV.
