Verizon Wireless actually has the Original 7's for $49.99 with a 2 yr contract right now. Yes, you pay for the tablet over the course of your contract but having a cell plan can come in handy plenty of times.

@pepeee: your sarcasm is noted. Since woot sponsored a sale on Galaxy Tab 7 pluses a few days ago, I thought there was value in mentioning that these cases arent for the 7 plus. It was just to help some people who bought that machine from buying one of these and being disappointed when they realize it doesn't fit or function right.

maybe that's just me. I got my silicon case for my Toshiba Thrive and it's probably an inch thick or so.

Just so everyone knows, these cases are really for the original Galaxy tab 7. They may fit the galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus but the hole cutouts are for the original Galaxy tab 7 only. If you wanted to get one on the cheap and make your own hole cutouts you probably could.
