I did a sku search for the item and it does not come up at all. Possibly sold out?

I was at Build-a-bear today and not available. My understanding is that it was a Black Friday deal only.

(I realize this is after the RIP, but if it comes up as a deal again...)

With the shipping, Hal comes out to almost the same price as what the Borders/Waldenbooks stores are selling him for ($9.99 + tax). Only really a deal if you were already planning on picking up other items from Build-a-Bear and getting the free shipping.

Otherwise, just wait until after Xmas or New Years at your local Borders and see if they have any left that have gone on sale.

Edit in: Just checked out the website. Looks like this is the 16" version of Hal that lights up. The ones at Borders are a smaller one that does not light up (the lights are just stitching). My bad.

It's $5 on Amazon (plus $3.50 shipping) and it is the light-up version. Plus they have a little lady moose for $5 too!

But when your votes lean so heavily toward the dark side, we have to wonder. Go vote up a few things. Accentuate the positive for a little while. It'll do you some good, and it'll do the site some good, too. Then you can get back to dealing out the smackdowns, OK?
