will they work with a mac?

vote-for11vote-against

All I gotta say is I better not need scissors to open the packaging on my new scissors.

vote-for3vote-against

a tad redundant, but a good deal

vote-for5vote-against

Mac compatible. Also works with paper.

I'm a sucker for free stuff but that site annoyed me with the big popup after submitting the form. Makes me a little worried about all the spam email, snail mail, and possibly even phone calls I may start getting now.

vote-for3vote-against

Who's leg do you have to hump to get a free pair of scissors around here?
rmurchshafer: Use a fake email and for phone just use mine: 916-555-1212

Warning:

I didn't fill in the form, I just clicked the "Send me the scissors" button. Instead of returning me to the page and requesting that I fill in the missing info, I got a popup and a warning from Web Of Trust that the site has a poor reputation (Red Donut = Bad).

I'm very happy I didn't fill in the form, and even happier that I didn't allow the popup to fully load.

Scissors are cheap. Identity theft, spam, and scams are not. Go buy a scissors if you need one.

They're offering a letter opener on their home page now. I couldn't find a valid link from their site to the scissors... looks shady. I think I'll pass on the spam.

vote-for1vote-against

They offer to ship for free a letter opener with Mailfinity logo to everyone. Hope be a honest deal (free is good)

vote-for1vote-against

Just use a "spam" e-mail address. I have one and just delete everything once in a while.

vote-for4vote-against

Got a free deal from them before. It's all good.

vote-for1vote-against

It's back to scissors now.

vote-for1vote-against

Seemed easy enough. Used a spam e-mail address and a fake phone number.

vote-for1vote-against

I am in for 1. Free good deal for spending 30 sec to fill your info.

http://mailfinity.net/letter-opener.html

Not that it makes any sense, as they seem to be doing e-mail.

vote-for1vote-against

Pop ups asking you to sign up for more free stuff + 4 to 8 weeks for delivery = SPAM

vote-for1vote-against

Really well designed site, this...Ran it with noscript and got the same page whether the form was filled in or not.

vote-for1vote-against

If you sign for anything free using a work or home email account you are asking for spam. I used my jumk Gmail account and a nonsensical phone number. I'll look forward to having an extra set of scissors for the kids to lose.

vote-for1vote-against

I ordered the scissors and the letter opener :).

vote-for1vote-against

@rageofangels: ok, you convinced me, I ordered the scissors with my spam e-mail address :-)

vote-for1vote-against

Please ... Do Not Run with them when you get them

vote-for1vote-against

If it's for free, it's for me!!!! Thanks Woot!!!

vote-for1vote-against

If I can't use them, I'll find them a home. Thanks!

vote-for1vote-against

Sounds like a real cut up deal

vote-for0vote-against

Free scissors are my favorite kind of scissors.

vote-for2vote-against

phone number of 000-000-0000 works

vote-for0vote-against

@rmurchshafer: My address is the only real thing I enter on those things.

vote-for3vote-against

yes they work with a MAC....use them to cut it into peices and then buy a p.c.

vote-for1vote-against

I never got my free soap that one time!

vote-for1vote-against

@rmurchshafer: I am a sucker for free stuff as well. I got a Google Phone number that helps keep the phone calls to a minimum. It's free (yay - more free stuff, lol) and you can do all sorts of cool stuff with it.

vote-for3vote-against

Make sure to tell the mailman not to run with this box.

vote-for1vote-against

@chris4253: why wouldn't these scissor work with a mac?

vote-for0vote-against

This is fake, a good way to tell is if you hit the submit button before entering in any information and it tells you thanks, your free item will arrive in 6-8 weeks.

vote-for1vote-against

Clicked the button and got "TROJAN HORSE BLOCKED" the second the popup window showed. Be careful guys.

Based on the color of your triangle I assume you are still an active deals.woot user.

Please go thru your old post and delete what is no longer active deals so the staff doesn't have to. There are over 2000 pages of deals from the year 2010 alone. If you need help to do this here is how: click on the tab with your name on it (it will list all your deals) all you do is hover on the deal and you will get the option to expire in the lower right corner-click it, then it will ask you to confirm and click yes.

Thank you.
