i really enjoy this game. Its almost like watching an episode of the walking dead except your in control of decisions he makes and what he says.

Just bought it. Thanks for the heads up. Good deal!

You may "think" your in control of the decisions but no matter what you do the game ends the same way for everyone. Not that its a bad thing though, if your a fan of the show you will find yourself getting attached to some of the characters and have to make some decisions I never thought I would see come out of a video game.

I paid 5 bucks each episode when it came out and it was worth it, at this price its a no brainer.

I was trying to buy the download but it is requiring me to sign up for a monthly membership. Is this a requirement for buying the game? Is there a way to make a one time purchase?

@johnnyred1: What this guy said. Don't get me wrong, different choices give different dialogue (some choices give different dialogue in future 'episodes' even) but ultimately the different choice paths meet for a linear "It has to happen" based story.

Regardless, it's worth the $9.

@silkykitty: You have to create an account, but you do not need to sign up for a monthly membership. Double-check that you are on the PC version (button will read "Buy Download") and not one of the console versions (button will read "Rent").

I don't have a membership, and I just purchased it.

Loved playing as a nice guy, now I want to play as a jerk. Only complaints are that it funnels you down a similar path no matter your decisions and the ending is typical zombie movie. I still liked the ending though.

$7.64 total with the SLICKSPRING10 coupon. Not bad...one annoying thing is that they make you download the Gamefly client in order to download your game though :/

Watch out for Gamefly. Some people end up getting unluckily picked for "Second verification," where they ask you for your phone number to call and verify you're the cardholder. From what I can tell, it's completely random. They've done this to me a few times now, and it was using the same information as the prior times! So if you're unlucky to get the verification & can't call b/w 12pm-4pm central, then you might as well just not purchase the game.

Note: You do NOT have to download the Gamefly client to install this game once you purchase. Just take the game code, launch Steam and click "Add Game" in the lower left hand corner. You'll be able to select activate from a code and just paste the code in, thus avoiding the Gamefly client.

If you have trouble spotting the game code on the Gamefly site after purchase, you can always go to your Gamefly Account page and select Purchase History. You can find your code in there. Enjoy all!
