89.99 here as well. Dell loves to screw around like that.

Same drive is on Newegg for 89.99 with free shipping and no tax (for me at least).

Does anyone have one of these HDs? Seems really cheap for a 2TB external, I was wondering what the quality was like?

Just purchased from newegg.....same price but no tax, saved 9 bucks

@engwadur: The transfer rate will be slow (USB 2.0). I recommend a USB 3.0 or eSATA connection if your pc supports it.

office max had it for a while for $74

Will this work on an eMac running OS X 10.3.9 (Panther)? I want to upgrade to Tiger(10.4), then to Leopard (10.5) but first I want to back up what I have now, and I can't use Carbonite with an OS less than 10.4.x.
I've read system minimum requirements on other external drives that only say "compatible withMac OS X", but don't specifically say which version.

I bought this at frys for $100 months ago. It is great once all your files have transferred. Never had a problem. I did transfer almost 2 Tb and it took hours to do...HOURS! but again, once it did, all smooth sailing since.

Is there a Code that I'm missing or something?

Office Depot has this drive online only through 3/5/11 for $89.99. If you use the $15 off $75 coupon that came recently (yes, it works on some technology and this is included) you can get the drive for under $81 shipped.

If you use the $20 off $100 coupon you can add a $10.01 filler. I added an $11.95 4 GB USB 2.0 mini retractable flash drive and got both for a total price of $87.67 shipped. A little better deal than the BB price match or the one above either way.

Keep in mind reviews on this drive are 70%-30%. 70% love it and 30% say it clicks and sometimes dies during data transfer. One person did say the issue was the case, not the drive, and if you had the clicking issue you could put it into another case and it would work fine.
