These things are actually quite useful for cleaning the interior of you windshield and rear window. They are advertised as being effective with just water, but I would advise against that unless you want to spend an inordinate amount of time on your windows. Spray on a little window cleaner, scrub off the offending dirt and crud with one of these bad boys, and wipe off the excess. I usually use a paper towel, but with two, you may be able to use the "dry" one to get the job done.

Unless you have arms like an orangutan, these things are invaluable time savers. Not a microfiber fan, so I wrap clean rags around these and a lotta Windex.

@sinner3k: I agree. I tried mine with no spray, and with only water, but they really work best with a bit of window cleaner. And they reach into those distant, tight spots at the edges that are nearly impossible to reach in some cars.

I second what everyone above has said. I also love mine...the microfiber cloth gives me the cleanest clean for my windshield. I use with glass cleaner. Allows me to reach the unreachable!

These things work like a CHAMP!

While I agree withe everyone regarding these, here are a couple of other things I've found:

1) I never use them on the exterior windows. Just too much dirt and nasty stuff. Still cleans the windows, but really mucks up the microfiber.

2) I also use a very light spray of window cleaner. Not enough to need to go over it with a second towel/microfiber, but enough to help to dissolve the light junk that leaves a film on your interior windows.

3) For between main cleanings, I'll use the moisture of anytime that windows are fogged up to give a quick once over (at least for the windshield). The small amount of moisture is enough to give the windows a little extra cleaning and keeps things clearer between main cleanings.

@netopia: Speaking of fog, I'll use it on my bathroom mirror from time to time after a hot shower. I could do it with paper towels because a mirror is easier to reach than your car windows, but it still makes the task a bit easier.

Does anyone know if this site is safe to purchase from? My computer flagged it as being unsafe... thanks for your help!

@allisonakemi: I've bought from them for years with no real problem. Just yesterday I had a little trouble with my cart and called them. Jessie in customer service fixed things right up! One of my favorite sites!

@belyndag: Agreed. No problems here after several purchases. They aren't the fastest shippers, but I've had no other issues.

I own these, and they're certainly useful for reach. However, the microfiber cloths it comes with aren't very good, and still leave lots of streaks (I use invisible glass cleaner). When I use just plain newspaper to clean the glass, the results are 100% perfect without a single streak. I've yet to figure out a way I can attach a crumpled up newspaper to one of these, but when I do, it will be great.
