Wow, Overstock has some really cheap tuxedos... goodbye paycheck?

honest query: if you actually have any use for a tuxedo, wouldn't you most likely be able to afford one that costs more than 70 bucks?

working musicians need one for swanky gigs, but I don't know too many that got the extra cash lying around to upgrade their tux.

wow... just wow.... can't believe I spent 2x as much to buy one for prom

At this rate I can wear a tux to the gym

Tuxes are expensive, but a good one is worth it. I mean one with a classic cut. As long as you don't get super-fat, it should last you at least 15 years. This one is ugly. But, yes, it is a $70.00 tuxedo. Good deal. Sorta.

Genuine artificial fabrics (polyester/viscose). May be a little hot and humid to wear.

Is anybody else thinking of this as a Holloween costume? I mean, for the price you could easily go as James Bond's cheaper, younger brother.

BTW, for anyone worried about spending that much mony on a poly-blend, they do have a wool tux for $71.99.

Only wore a tux once. Looked like the world's largest emperor penguin. Never again.

@cyborgbill: Never say never. It just sounds like yours was poorly fitted. Remember, every girl's crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man!

Just bought 100, and got free six months rent at a local mall. Who knew I'd start the day unemployed, and end the day as a tuxedo rental guru.

There's a 47 dollar tuxedo, too.

There is no way I'd be caught dead in a $47 tux.

I'm waiting for a $29 one.

It isn't made out of the right materials to qualify as a tuxedo. It's more like a Halloween costume. I do think it's a good deal if you are in the need for a tuxedo costume. The materials might actually be more comfortable to wear rather than traditional wool; especially if you're playing in an unairconditioned theatre. I'd just stay away from trying to fool your socialite friends. Also the deal appears to only be available in plus sizes. I did see another one for 89$ that was available smaller sizes.

I own a tuxedo rental company called www.tuxship.com and I am interested to see why or how you can sell this tuxedo for about the same price as a rental?

@alexhart: By making the tuxedo out of polyester instead of wool and nylon instead of silk...
