Showing as 100.95 on my side, but also shows free shipping. Great reviews, but only going back a month, so who knows what sort of longevity it has. I will say that I've had a 1 TB WD Elements Drive plugged in constantly for over three years now with no problems at all. It used to be that these bigger drives failed more often, but I don't know how true that it is nowadays.

In any case, I'm in the market for one. I'll let you know in three years how its doing.

Also worth noting: USB 3.0. Very tempting.

Gone. Tiger Direct deals are notoriously short lived and designed to suck you onto their site. A skunk in a tiger suit.

@stark: It is worth noting though that most of these elements drives have 1 year warranties through WD

Also this is a new drive and not refurbished makes the price that much better.

I own a bunch of earlier versions of this drive, very dependable. Data transfer rate over usb 3 is 65 MBPS at the front of the drive and 125 MBPS at the back of the drive. What that means is since it rotates at a constant speed, the closer to the outside or back of the drive you get, the faster the data is.
